The Desta Foundation spends the money from European donors on:

• the full support of 36 children (in 2021)
• incidental projects, including
  • educational support
  • repair of houses
  • hand out flower and oil to the foster families around Ethiopian holidays
  • one-off projects such as the purchase of playground equipment and library books
• supporting 40 phase 2 children by providing  school materials and school clothes

 

The Desta Foundation works 1-on-1 with the local NGO SAEDO.

The overhead costs are low. More than 95% of the donations directly benefit the project.
