The Desta Foundation spends the money from European donors on:

• the full support of 45 children (in 2025)
• hygiene project; supply of soap and other hygiene products
• incidental projects, including
  • educational support
  • repair of houses
  • food support; hand out flower and oil to the foster families around Ethiopian holidays
  • one-off projects such as the purchase of playground equipment and library books
• supporting phase 2 and phase 3 children by providing  school materials and school clothes
• supoorting five phase 3 children by paying their tuition fees

 

The Desta Foundation works 1-on-1 with "Koka-Ejersa Flower Farms' community support Project (KEFF-CoSP)", previously SAEDO.

The overhead costs are low. More than 95% of the donations directly benefit the project.
